A few days ago, WordPress 3.5 was released and I originally planned to write the typical "what is new in WordPress" article similar to what I've done in the past for CMS Report. However, I thought this time around I would also discuss how I'm using WordPress to support the website of one of my favorite photographers, Karen Ruby of Dakota Imagery. Certainly, in this article there is no cause for you to suspect my opinions are biased with regard to her photography skills despite the fact we've been married for 11 years and she is the mother of my child.

I went out for lunch with one of our customers last week. They are one of the largest magazine publishers in Canada and one of the first customers of our Magazine Suite.

I’ll leave real names out of it, but for the purposes of the article, I’ll call my lunch guest Ben. 

Ben is a media entrepreneur. He started a blog that became one of the most popular in Canada which was then bought by said publisher. He is now a VP.

A decade before, organizations stepped up to revolutionize their processes. It was an era of websites and automation applications. To cater to the clients, organizations went for online building their online presence with e-commerce sites.  While process automation picked up buzz words like SCM, CMS, DMS, WCM, and ECM floating across all industries. IT companies continued the stride further to enhance these applications and website features.

• Only 45% of CIOs report that they test security systems and procedures provided by cloud vendors
• Security issues remain the biggest concern for CIOs migrating their systems to the cloud
• Vast majority (84%) of CIOs are either concerned or very concerned about cybersecurity
